Leh Ladakh Thrill
The two of the world’s most powerful mountain ranges – the Karakoram and the Great
Himalayas – make Ladakh a much preferred adventure destination. The altitude in
Ladakh ranges between 3505 m and 2750 m.
Day 1: Arrive at Leh
Meet our representative upon arrival in Leh and transfer to the hotel. Spend the
rest of the day at leisure to acclimatize to the high altitude of Ladakh. In the
evening, take a walk to the local bazaar in Leh. Stay overnight at hotel in Leh. Overnight - Hotel
Day 2 :Monastery tour and Sindhu Darshan (90 kms round trip)
After breakfast, drive to Thiksey village, visit Thiksey monastery and drive to
Shey Village to visit Shey Palace and Gompa. Continue the pricturesque hdrive to
Hemis Monastery to visit one of the most famous monasteries of Ladakh. Later on
the way back to Leh get down at the Sindhu Ghat for Sindhu Darshan and walk along
the river. After spending some time at the river come back to Hotel and relax. Overnight - Hotel
Day 3: Excursion to Sham Valley (150 kms round trip)
After breakfast, drive to Alchi. Enroute visit Magnetic Hill, Gurudwara Patthar
Sahib and the confluence of Zanskar and Indus rivers. Visit Alchi Monastery and
drive back to Leh. Just before reaching Leh, visit the Ladakh Hall of Fame. Arrive
at hotel Overnight - Hotel
Day 4: Leh - Nubra via Khardungla Pass (140 kms / 5 - 6 hours)
~Early morning proceed to Nubra Valley via the World Highest Motorable road (5602
Mts) Khardungla pass. Arrive Nubra and proceed for a visit to the White Sand Dunes
at Hunder. You can enjoy the camel ride (On Own). Later if time permits visit Hunder
and Diskit monasteries and check in at Deluxe Camp. Evening at leisure.
Overnight - Hotel
Day 5: Nubra - Leh
Early in the morning, proceed to Nubra Valley via the world's highest motorable
road (5602 mts), the Khardungla Pass. Arrive at Nubra by noon and check-in at hotel
/ camp. Spend the evening at leisure. Overnight - Hotel
Day 6: Excursion to Pangong Lake (280 kms round trip)
After breakfast drive to to Pangong Lake on the Indo-China border. On the way, visit
Shey Palace and Gompa. In the evening, Overnight -
Camp
Day 7: Departure
Depart on time for Leh airport to board the return flight to Delhi.
