Darjeeling - 6 days
Darjeeling is popularly known as the "Queen of the Hills" and produces the famous
Darjeeling Tea, one of the world's finest teas. It is also home to the Darjeeling
Himalayan Railway, a World Heritage Site. Darjeeling with its natural beauty provides
a wide variety of activities from liesurely scenic walks to more gruelling activities

Day 01: New Jalpaiguri/Bagdogra-(Darjeeling)
On arrival in New Jalpaiguri Railway station/ Bagdogra Airport, our representative
would meet you and transfer you to Darjeeling (100 Km/4 hrs). Check in at the hotel
after arrival. Rest of the day is at leisure. After relaxation you can go outside
for a walk in the local markets to buy something special of the place. Dinner and
overnight stay is at hotel in Darjeeling. Overnight

Day 02: Darjeeling
Very early in the morning (at around 0300 hrs), we take you to Tiger Hill to catch
a glimpse of sunrise over Kanchandzonga (Subject to clear weather conditions). On
the way back you can see Batasia Loop-the point where the rail tracks spiral around
over itself through a tunnel and over a hilltop to reduce the gradient of ascent
and Ghoom Monastery. Evening is meant for leisure activities or for a joy train
ride in Toy Train (optional). Dinner and overnight stay is at hotel in Darjeeling.

Day 03: Darjeeling
After breakfast, we will take you for a full day excursion trip of Darjeeling including
HMI (Himalayan Mountaineering Institute), Zoological Gardens, and Dhirdham temple,
Happy Valley Tea Estate, Tenzing, Gombu Rock, Peace Pagoda and Japanese temple.
Dinner and overnight stay is at hotel in Darjeeling.

Day 04: Darjeeling - Kalimpong - Gangtok
After breakfast, we transfer you to Kalimpong (56 Km/1.5hrs). Kalimpong is well
known for its many educational institutions Kalimpong has become an important tourist
destination owing to its temperate climate and proximity to popular tourist locations
in the region. Kalimpong is famous for its flower market, especially the wide array
of orchids. Flower nurseries involved in exporting Himalayan grown flower bulbs,
tubers and rhizomes contribute to the economy of Kalimpong. It also houses several
Buddhist monasteries which hold a number of rare Tibetan Buddhist scriptures. You
can see Dello hill, Science Centre, Hanuman statue and Durga mandir also. In the
evening we transfer you to Gangtok hotel (85 Km/3hrs). Dinner and overnight stay

Day 05: Gangtok
After breakfast, we take you for a full day excursion trip of Gangtok including
Ganesh Tok and Hanuman Tok and Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, Banjhakari Falls,
Tashi View Point etc, Rumtek Monastery etc. Overnight stay and dinner is in hotel.

Day 06: Gangtok
Early in the morning, we take you to an excursion trip to Tsongo Lake or Changu
Lake which is a glacial lake in East Sikkim, and Baba Harbhajan Temple- a temple
made and revered by soldiers to owner a famous Indian Army officer named Captain
Baba Harbhajan Singh. Overnight stay and dinner is in hotel. Optional tour to Nathu
La Pass (on prior request only) Nathu La Pass is a mountain pass in the Himalayas
which connects the Indian state of Sikkim with China's Tibet Autonomous Region.
The pass is at 4,310 m (14,140 ft) above mean sea level, and forms a part of the
ancient Silk Road. Visit to Nathu La Pass depends on availability of permits and
road conditions. For visiting Nathu La Pass, a special permission is required from
Indian Army. Please note that the pass is closed on Mondays & Tuesdays every week
and in the winter.
